Agreements between the Government of the Republic of Karelia and Moscow Signed
On Saturday, June 17, two agreements between the ministries of the Republic of Karelia and the committees of the Government of Moscow in the area of cultural cooperation were signed.
The agreement envisions cooperation in the field of state youthful family policy. Part of the cooperation will be information exchange, joint programs oriented on solution of social-economic problems of families, children and youth, cultural contacts development, experience exchange, promotion of direct contacts between children, youthful and student organizations of Moscow and the Republic of Karelia. The agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Committee on the family and youth affairs of the government of Moscow Irina Muravjeva and the Minister of education Galina Razbivnaya.
The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Karelia and the Government of Moscow on inter-library cooperation on information and document exchange was also signed.
The books and textbooks for the Karelian libraries were given as a gift to the National library.
In signing the agreements the Head of Moscow delegation, the First deputy of the Head of the Government of Moscow Oleg Tolkachev and the Head of the Government of the Republic of Karelia Sergey Katanandov took part.
