In summer of this year marine club "Polar Odissey" is planning to go on pilgrimage to Holy places of Russia and Mediterranean Sea
Petrozavodsk, January 21./SeverInform/. Members of Perozavodsk marine club "Polar Odissey" will make this journey on the wooden boats of the 12th century. They will visit Holy places of Russia, Turkey, Greece,
Israel and Egypt. The journey will be made on motor-sailing boats
"Faith", "Hope" and "Love". On their way the pilgrims will visit an
island of Kizi, Belozerskey monastery and some other monasteries located
on the shores of Volga and Azov rivers. They are planning to leave
Petrozavodsk in June of the year 2000. The journey will take about 4
months.
