The Head of the Government of Karelia Sergey Katanandov signed the Law on establishment the Day of the Republic of Karelia. It will be celebrated annually June, the 8th as an anniversary of publication the decision of All-Russian Central Executive Committee in 1920 "On Karelian Labour Commune formation". The Day of the Republic of Karelia will be a day off.
