Days of the Republic of Karelia Open in the State Duma
Today the Days of the Republic of Karelia has been open in the State Duma. They will be held till May 17. Karelia is the first region of Russia, invited to Moscow for the event. The program includes exhibitions of the products of Karelian enterprises.
The republic is represented by the delegation of 24 people. Among them are politicians, deputies, entrepreneurs, heads of local power bodies. Sergey Katanandov, Head of the Government of the Republic of Karelia, leads the delegation.
Within the frames of the Days, the meetings with Valentin Shmikov, Chief Federal Inspector in the Republic of Karelia of the Organs of Plenipotentionary Representative of the President of Russian Federation in North-Western District and Gennady Seleznyov, the Chairman of the State Duma will be held.
