A Contract with Germany on Granule Supply
The JSC "Karelian Granule" has made a contract on granule supply to Germany in 2001. Oleg Mikhailov, general director of the enterprise has stated this fact at the press-conference.
He pointed out that the Kostomukshsky enterprise has established longstanding relations with the company EKOSTAHL, involved in the French group USINOR. JSC "Karelian Granule has been in cooperation with this enterprise, and supplied it with 10% of all export production in 2000. Within the frames of the visit to Hannover, the parties expressed their willingness to strengthen further cooperation.
Recently JSC "Karelian Granule" has signed contracts on granule supply with Poland, Hungary, Norway, Chechia, and Turkey. More than 50% of production is supplied to JSC "Severstal", JSC "Karelian Granule" being part of the holding.
The portion of "Karelian Granule" has made 25% in the total volume of the granules, produced by all Russian enterprises, and 32% in export supply.
