First Group of Students, Majoring in Politology Received Their Diplomas in Petrozavodsk State University
 PETROZAVODSK, June, 20 /The ITAR-TASS corr. Vladimir Zlobin/. The first ten students, majoring in politilogy have graduated from the Law Department of Petrozavodsk State University. Sergey Katanandov, Head of the Government of the Republic of Karelia, has handed the diplomas to the graduates.
"You might not become public politicians," he said, addressing young specialists. "But nevertheless, you are a valuable asset to our republic, because the republic needs such specialists badly."
As the ITAR-TASS correspondent has been told at the university, a new Department of Politology and Social Sciences will be establish in a new academic year.
