International Conference "North of Russia is Our Future"
On June 27 the International conference "North of Russia is our Future" was held in the President-hotel in Moscow. It is dedicated to the issues of economic development and bettering the investment climate in the North of Russia. The conference was organized by the European Business Club together with the State Duma RF Committee on the problems of the North and Far East and the Academy of people economy attached to the government RF. The conference is held under the patronage of Alexander Blokhin, Minister on federal, national, and migration policy, Swen Hirdman, Ambassador of Sweden in Russia, and Richard Right, Head of the European commission in RF delegation.
The deputies of the State Duma RF, leaders of the Russian regions, EU countries ambassadors, leading Russian entrepreneurs, and representatives of the largest European companies, working in Russia are taking part in the conference. The Republic of Karelia is represented by Valery Shlyamin, Minister of foreign relations RK. He has made a presentation "Of the interregional relations and cross-border projects role in the strategy of North-West of Russia development".
