Visit of the Czech delegation to Karelia: we need to develop cooperation

On April 16 the official delegation from the Republic of Czechia has visited Petrozavodsk. The Consul General of Czechia in Russia Yaroslav Bashta has brought along representatives of the ten largest enterprises of this republic, among which there are Skoda T.S., Siemens, Kareks, Fatra Napaedla, Czechtrade, Karosa, TOS Svitavy, and Czechexport.

This impressive visit is the first in the history of Karelia. At the meeting of the Consul General with the Head of the Republic of Karelia Sergey Katanandov the necessity to develop close contacts and comprehensive cooperation between our regions was noted.

The same day the visitors had a meetingwith the Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Karelia Alexander Grishchenkov, the Vice-Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the RK Valery Tolsky, and with the Head of local self-government of Petrozavodsk Victor Masliakov.
