PETROZAVODSK. /SPB-TASS/. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has arrived today in Petrozavodsk.
The Head of the Republic of Karelia Sergey Katanandov, deputy head of administration of the President Alexander Abramov, and the plenipotentiary of the President in the Northwest Federal District Valentina Matvienko met the President at the airport.
The head of the state will hold a meeting with representatives of timber industry of Karelia in Petrozavodsk.
The hosts also intend to show Vladimir Putin Petrozavodsk points of interest.
