The Governor of Vermont Jim Douglas spoke Russian to Sergey Katanandov

On July, 1 in the American city of Montpelier the meeting of the Head of Karelia of Sergey Katanandov with Jim Douglas, the Governor of Vermont, was held, - Associated Press has informed. Governor Douglas, who majored in Russian Studies, had good opportunity to practice his Russian language skills.

The Head of Karelia also plans to visit the Institute of Steady Communities in Montpelier. The same days meetings of heads of the Karelian enterprises with the American businessmen are held in the USA.
