The meeting of Prince Edward and Sergey Katanandov with the Award programme participants was held in the hall of Nobiliary Assemblies. In this magnificent interior young people have told the honoured guests of their achievements. It is necessary to tell, that children were not perplexed in the presence eminent persons. Many had conversations in English, and apparently it was pleasant for The Royal Family member. The Prince also communicated with the young people with ease. The security service guards who kept reminding journalists of the strict protocol of the meeting not to ask prince any questions added to the ceremoniousness.
Sergey Katanandov has highly evaluated participation of young people from Karelia in the international program of personal development: "This is break through for our youth that represents all Russia in the Award programme. The young people will gain a special opportunity to announce themselves and their achievements. These are new international contacts that add confidence," - S.Katanandov has told.
This morning (September 15, 04) Prince Edward and the Head of Karelia will take part in the programme of the International Academy of Youth Leadership international camp in the settlement of Polovina.
In the evening the solemn ceremony of delivering special awards to the programme participants is held in the National Theatre.
