PETROZAVODSK, August 18. INTERFAX NORTHWEST - The Prime Minister of Belarus Sergey Sidorsky has arrived to Karelia on Thursday with a three-day working visit.
According to the Interfax correspondent, today the head of the Belarus government will visit Petrozavodskmash Joint-Stock Company, familiarize with Kondopoga, Inc., pulp and paper mill, and also will negotiate with the Head of the Republic of Karelia Sergey Katanandov.
It is supposed that on August 19 Sergey Sidorsky will visit Onega Ship-Building Factory, Ltd. and Kizhi memorial estate, and will meet with representatives of business circles of Karelia. On results of the working visit signing of the report on the agreement reached is planned.
As Interfax has been informed in the Belarus government, on results of 2004 commodity circulation between Belarus and Karelia has made $16 million and has increased by 90.7% in comparison with 2003, export and import have made $9,7 million (132.3% of growth) and $6,3 million (49.2% of growth) correspondingly.
