The Head of Karelia Sergey Katanandov will take part in the XVIIth international exhibition fair of commercial real estate and investment projects MIPIM-2006 in Cannes (France) from March, 14 till March, 17, 2006.
The Head of the Russian delegation Minister of Economic Development and Trade German Gref has sent a personal invitation to Sergey Katanandov to take part in the exhibition.
Heads of the most economically developed Russian regions such as St.Petersburg, Krasnodar and Perm Territories, Republic of Tatarstan, Nizhniy Novgorod and Kaliningrad regions will take part in the largest economic forum.
Under the patronage of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation the State Joint-Stock Company All-Russia Exhibition Center, Ltd., will become an operator of the "Regions of Russia" uniform stand.
Participation in MIPIM will grant the subjects of the Russian Federation an additional opportunity to involve foreign investors in the regions. Within the framework of the exhibition the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation plans carrying out of a conference with foreign investors with presentation of regional investment projects.
This year it is expected that 5000 investors and ultimate consumers of commercial real estate will participate in the exhibition.
