Leningrad region has shown Karelia its new projects

On May 17, within the scope of visit of delegation of Leningrad region led by governor Valery Serdyukov to the Republic of Karelia tourist holding Karelia held presentation of investment and economic potential of the region with demonstration of mobile exposition of the exhibition. At the presentation heads of departments of the regional government have took the floor: vice-governor, the committee for economic development of Leningrad region chairman Grigory Dvas, the committee for architecture and town-planning chairman Valery Kim and the committee for cooperation with institutions of local government of Leningrad region chairman Yury Marasaev. According to the vice-premier who spoke on the subject of Results and prospects of social and economic development and investment policy of Leningrad region, today government of Leningrad region pays steadfast attention to closer cooperation with foreign countries and regions of the Russian Federation among which Karelia was and remains the core one, attraction of investments from the outside, construction of new industrial and agricultural objects, development of tourism and road infrastructure. As illustrations to it he has shown many investment projects which the region is ready to offer investors today. These are new hotels, entertaining and tourist complexes, sports arenas of new generation. Among projects and new trading complexes designed in the form of copies of whole streets and squares of the most tourist-famous European cities. Such unusual building, in the opinion of the committee for architecture chairman and town-planning Valery Kim will allow to bring a significant number of visitors to the territory of the region.

Within the scope of presentation Karelian enterprises have also shown thie production. EFER Engineering center of fire robotics presented its new solutions to the visitors.
