The Perm Playbill. For the second time Perm host the festival of puppet theatres of the Gold Mask national premium winners and nominees. From September 22 to 28 on the stage of Perm Puppet Theatre there will perform six troupes of theatres from Ekaterinburg, Petrozavodsk and St.-Petersburg.
The Ekaterinburg Puppet Theatre will present the Nightingale full of wonderful miracles on Andersen's tale and a Pictures at an Exhibition show without words on modern arrangement of Modest Musorgsky's famous music. Puppet Theatre of the Republic of Karelia will amuse the audience with the Golden Foreheads "improvised" performance about a nice adventurer.
St.Petersburg puppet theatre Puppet Format will perform the Horseman Cuprum - free version of Pushkin's The Copper Horseman. Other two theatres from the northern capital - E.S.Demmeni Puppet Theatre and Little Stray Doggy St.-Petersburg State Puppet Theatre - will show fairy tales The Magic Plumelet and The Ugly Duckling. Each of performances will be played at least twice, a matinée and an evening performance.
We sould remind, that the decision on carrying out of annual festival was made in 2007 when a similar action was held in Perm for the first time.
