On the operative data of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Karelia, in seven months of this year, due to all sources of financing in the republic there has been constructed and put into operation 84,7 thousand square meters of total area of apartment houses. Thus, to the level of the last year the volume of the commissioned housing has grown by 57.4 percent.
Individual builders that build houses at their own expense and by means of credit resources, have commissioned 27,5 thousand square meters that makes 32.4 percent of the total amount.
Most of housing from the beginning of the year was constructed and commissioned in Petrozavodsk - 56,7 thousand square meters, as well as in Olonets, Sortavala and Kondopoga regions, accordingly - almost 4,5 thousand, 4,1 thousand and 3,1 thousand square meters.
In total this year in the republic it iswill be to constructed and commissioned 144 thousand square meters of total area of housing.
