PETROZAVODSK, August 11. /Correspondent of SPB-TASS Sergey Kulikayev/. Northern capital accounts for 60% of newprint and 65% of saw-timber exported from Karelia. It was announced at the press-service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Karelia, making comments on the request of the SPB-TASS correspondent on the course of performance of the agreement between Karelia and St.Petersburg on social and economic cooperation.
Commodity circulation between Karelia and St.Petersburg tends to stable growth. Except for paper and saw-timber through the city on Neva from Karelia it is exported 16% of road metal, 25% of furniture, 80% of distillery products, 90% of canned fish and 39% of flour.
