Courses of the Hungarology summer university are to pass in the vicinities of the Hungarian lake Balaton from August 17 to 30.
Teaching fundamentals of Hungarian language and culture for students, pupils and interested young people from Finno-Ugric regions is organised by the Chair of Ural Philology of pedagogical institute of the West-Hungarian University (Szombathely) and Collegium Fenno-Ugricum.
The courses will offer lectures and seminars on history and culture of Hungary, standing of nationalities living in Hungary, system of school education, religion, etc. The program includes introduction course on studying Hungarian language.
Not only Russian (courses are tought in Russian) and Hungarian speech will sound on the coast of Balaton. In one of the classes every student will make a 15-minute speach in his/her native language. Such claim is submitted by organizers, as it will fill up their sound archive of national languages.
This year to get acquainted with Hungary there will come representatives of the Republic of Marij El, Mordovia, Karelia, Komi and Ugra Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District.
