Deputy Minister of Construction of Karelia Nikolay Skresanov has held a meeting with Road district representatives of the region of Savo-Karjala of Road Administration of Finland.
Arrival of a group of Finnish highway engineers is caused by desire of the appointed director of the district Petri Keränen to get acquainted personally with administration of road facilities of Karelia to continue implementation of the teamwork program of the Ministry of Construction of the ะส and the Road district Savo-Karjala accepted for 2008.
On the way to Petrozavodsk the Finnish colleagues passed some of our roads, familiarized with the course of major overhaul of one of the sites of Kola federal highway near the settlement of Pryazha. During the meeting Nikolay Skresanov continued telling about the present condition and prospects of development of road facilities of the republic.
Head of the Road of district Savo-Karjala Petri Keränen, having expressed gratitude for hearty welcome, has told about the state of affairs and prospects of development of the road branch in their region and confirmed continuation of cooperation within the planned program.
Summing up the meetings, both parties were unanimous that continuation of cooperation is mutually advantageous and useful for highway engineers of Karelia and the region of Savo-Karjala.
