Delegation of Karelia headed by the Assistant to the Prime Minister of the Government of the republic and Minister of Finance Alexander Kolesov will take part in IIIrd Russian-Japanese investment forum to pass in St.-Petersburg from September 4 to 6.
The forum is organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation together with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, as well as Government of St.-Petersburg.
Japan's delegation to be led by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan T.Nikai will include more than 250 heads of state structures, unions of businessmen, companies and banks. Participation of about 350 delegates from the Russian party is expected, the delegation will be headed by Minister of Economic Development of Russian Federation Elvira Nabiullina.
Program of the forum provides the Development of investment mechanisms in Russia and new opportunities of the Russian-Japanese investment cooperation plenary session, on September 5 there will pass the Development of Russia's regions and geographical expansion of the Russian-Japanese investment cooperation plenary session and nine 'round tables' on the most actual subjects of the Russian-Japanese economic relations.
Representatives of the Republic of Karelia will take part in work of some round table discussions and will make reports on the subject of Investment potential of the Republic of Karelia in the sphere of tourism.
