From September 2 to 6 the International exhibition center of Changchun (Chinese People's Republic) will host the Fourth Trade and Investment Fair of the Northeast Asian countries.
Under the order of the Government of Karelia and according to the official invitation of the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in the Northwest Federal District Ilya Klebanov, delegation of our republic including the official representative of Karelia in St.-Petersburg Igor Ignatovich and the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Karelia Dmitry Bazegsky will take part in the fair.
Fair of countries of the Northeast Asia represents a bright important action held by the Chinese Government. Its purpose is creation of an open platform for long-term, mutually advantageous and competitive cooperation, contacts and exchanges between China and countries of the Northeast Asia.
Within the framework of the fair there will pass the forum of trade and economic cooperation of Russia and countries of the Northeast Asia, specialized business meetings and negotiations will be held.
As the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the republic Dmitry Bazegsky has told, the presentation of the Northwest Federal District will be made at the fair within which Karelia will present its information stand. This stand will carry information on the region, as well as a number of investment projects of the republic.
