The 10-kilometer site of the motorway of the St.-Petersburg - Murmansk federal line is commissioned in Pryazha region.

On September 30 to congratulate builders on completion of the 384-394 km motorway site there came the Prime Minister of the Government of Karelia Pavel Chernov, Minister of Construction Valery Momotov, and Head of Pryazha region Konstantin Gusev. They have thanked the road builders for the job they'd completed in the shortest terms.
"For almost eight years experts of the VAD enterprise from St.-Petersburg are building roads in our republic, - Pavel Chernov addressed to the road builders who have gathered at the celebration. - After introduction of each site of the road you have constructed, citizens of Karelia gain the opportunity of comfortable and safe travelling over the new lines. For eight years we have already got used to the fact that if something is constructed by VAD, it means that it is well constructed."

It is necessary to note, that the commissioned 10-kilometer site of the road was repaired in record-breaking short terms: work has begun on July 1 this year and was conducted round the clock within three months. Cost of the executed works has made more than 330 million roubles.

Road builders have completely restored the earth roadbed, have made a new asphalt covering, have repaired drainage constructions. General extent of the zinced power protection has made 8 kilometers. Near the settlement of Pryazha there was constructed a new 2.5-kilometer line of external illumination, new sidewalks were arranged for pedestrians. All this should provide safe traffic and lower breakdown susceptibility on this site of the road.

At asphalt laying high-efficiency equipment was used which has provided more equal, dense and homogeneous covering that both provides more comfortable travel, and increases service life of a line.
Start-up of the site became the beginning of bringing to motorway from the settlement of Pryazha up to Petrozavodsk to normative condition and a closing stage of repair work of Kola federal line from the border of Leningrad region to the capital of Karelia.
