On October 3 Chairman of the State committee of the RK on Physical Training and Sports Maxim Antipov meets with bike orienteering sportsmen. We shall remind, that Irina Laneva and Anna Vorobieva have just returned from the Bike Orienteering Championship of Europe held in Lithuania. About 300 sportsmen participated in it. Russia was represented by the team of 38 sportsmen.
Within four days sportsmen competed in 4 disciplines: sprint, relay race, medium and long distance racing. Our sportsmen have won one gold medal. Irina Laneva together with Natalia Shcherbakova and Anastasia Svir have won go-ahead race. Irina has also won the 4 place in sprint and 4 in the medium distance racing. Anna Vorobieva's best achievement is the 5 place in relay race and 11 place in sprint, that is Anna's best result in her sports career.
