Irina Mihalko has won gold in relay race at the World Orienteering Ñhampionship for military servants

World Ñhampionship for military servants passed in Alitus (Lithuania) from October 7 to 11. Sportsmen from 26 countries of the world including the combined team of Armed forces of Russia took part in it. Competitions were held in three disciplines - relay race, long and medium distance races.

The Russian combined team comprised 11 sportsmen. Petrozavodsk orienteer Irina Mihalko represented Karelia. Russia has won the first place anmong other teams. Irina's best result was achieved in relay race. She has shared her gold with Natalia Korzhova and Natalia Ryabkina. Besides, Irina has the 10 place in the long distance race (8.200 km), and 7 place in medium distance race (4.100 km).
