"Please remember that the situation is absolutely calm, — A.Nelidov has emphasized. — Until the new Head of Karelia is offered by the President and approved by the Legislative Assembly, no revolutionary changes will be made: neither personnel, nor political, nor changes of the course. Our task for this period of time is to work as if no changes happened at all. No reflections like 'what now', or 'should I work'. It is exactly against what I want to warn everybody. I expect you keep working actively in the same way you used to work with Mr.Karanandov.
"All the working plans you have now are valid plans. And depending on the fact how efficiently they are performed, quality of work of this or that manager will be evaluated. The one who makes no decisions and, thus, makes no mistakes is a poor manager. The one who works and assumes the responsibility is a strong manager even if some of these decisions are false. If of 10 solutions 7 are successful, it is an excellent manager.
"I think, such position is clear to everybody, and we can keep on working. It is our duty, as all of you have sworn to work for the benefit of the people. And the people's benefit is that we make no revolutions, no hitches."
