Today, on July 21, Ilya Klebanov, Presidential Envoy to Northwestern Federal District of Russia, came to Petrozavodsk. The purpose of his trip is to take part in the special meeting of the Legislative Assembly of Karelia which is going to consider the President's representation on authorization of Andrei Nelidov nominated by United Russia as the Head of the republic.
Andrei Nelidov, Acting Head of the Republic of Karelia, Alexander Pereplesnin, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Karelia, Alexander Hynninen, Chief Federal Inspector in the Republic of Karelia, Vladimir Fedorov, Member of the Council of Federation from the Republic of Karelia, Mikhail Zakomaldin, Minister of Internal Affairs for the republic, Alexey Pisanyuk, Chief of the Russian Federal Security Service Office for Karelia, and German Shtadler, Prosecutor of the republic, were waiting for Ilya Klebanov at the airport.
