The Visit of the Delegation of the Republic
of Adigea is Completed
"We are sure that we have made the right choice making business contacts with
Karelia", highlighted the President of the Republic of Adigea Aslan Jarimov
summing up his stay in our republic.
For three days the delegation of the Republic of Adigea has been staying in
Karelia with a responsive visit. Among the members of the delegation were the
spouse of the president Fatima Jarimova, the substitute of the head of the State
Council-Hase of the Republic of Adigea Adam Tleuzh, the minister of the
economics Sergey Zobenko, the head of the administration of Koshehablsky
district Nalbiy Tharkahov, the chairman of the director board ZAO "Kartontara"
Valentin Chramov and other officials. In the course of the visit the delegation
visited industrial and agricultural enterprises of the republic including AO
"Petrozavodskbummash", which is planned to take an active part in remodeling ZAO
"Kartontara" in Maikop, the towns of Kondopoga and Sortavala, the Pryzha
settlement, Kizhi and Valaam islands.
June 26th the guests participated in celebration the City Day of Petrozavodsk,
opened the boating festival "The Blue Onega" and military-historical festival
"The Onega Sward". The same day the ceremony of final signing the Agreement between the Republic
of Karelia and the Republic of Adigea took place, and also the meeting with
mass-media representatives was held.
Having visited the Karelian enterprises the guests became sure that it’s very
important and necessary to contact with Karelian businessmen and manufacturers.
"Petrozavodskbummash" is sure to be not the only would- be successful
cooperation. Karelian tractors might be equipped with manipulators produced in
Adigea in the nearest future as it used to be some years ago. Karelia will
receive the Adigea assistance in grain supplies and other agricultural products.
The Government of Adigea envisions to renovate the herd of cattle with the help
of our republic, and Karelia in its turn will be able to restore the pig-
breeding traditions, practically lost out in Karelia with the help of adigeisky
fodder.
One of the results of the visit is also the idea of cultural exchange between
Karelia and Adigea. Aslan Jarimov highly estimated the fact that Karelian
national cultural traditions in our republic are cared for. This autumn the
first exchange in the art field is being planned. The professional and amateur
actors will go to win the hearts of new audience by the train "Murmansk -
Adler".
