took part in the exhibition
" Cultural interaction of Russia and Finland in
XIX-XX centuries",
which was held from the 15th of June to the 15th of September, year 2000, Helsinki.
The exhibition is a result of the teamwork of archive workers from Finland and Russia. Documents, displayed at the exhibition show the close cultural ties between Russia and Finland. Even though we have had some negative incidents in the past, the habitants of both countries have positively influenced each other, in different spheres. The National Archive of RK, exhibited the documents establishing that Finnish cultural experts, have studied the documents related to the culture of our region, good neighbor relations, sister cities, friendship societies of Finland and the USSR, national art, theatre, literature and other issues.
