Efimov Alexander Valerievich

Efimov Alexander Valerievich was born on June 28, 1958, in Petrozavodsk, Republic of Karelia. He has been working in the building branch for 21 years, his labour activity is connected to the Republic of Karelia.

In 1980 he has graduated from Petrozavodsk State University on the speciality of industrial and civil construction. Worked as the master and builder in "Mobile mechanized column N115", as the chief of the site of "Construction management N4" of ""Petrozavodskstroy Trust. At his direct participation the following objects were constructed in Petrozavodsk: the Palace of Creativity of Children (the Pioneer Palace), the city stomatologic polyclinic, the Karelian philarmonic society, the automatic telephone system N4 building, apartment houses and other social and cultural objects.

In the period from 1989 to 1996 he headed research laboratory on technologies and organizations of construction in Petrozavodsk State University, and the Educational complex "Systems of Automated Designing in Construction".

Since 1996 he works in the State Committee of the Republic of Karelia on Construction and Architecture as the main expert, then the chief of the department of construction and building materials industry.

In 1999 he has graduated with distinction the St.-Petersburg Northwest Academy of Public Service on the speciality of the state and municipal management.

Since June 28, 2002, he is the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Karelia on Construction and Architecture.
