"The Republic of Karelia: 80 Years within Federation (Development of the State System)"

The conference will be held on June 6-7, 2000. The day of arrival is on June 5 (Monday), the expiring date is on June 7 (Wednesday).

The conference will be divided into two sections:

1. Problems of politics and state system development.
2. History and culture of the Republic of Karelia.

   The deadline of your applications to participate in the conference and to send abstracts to the organizing committee is April 10 2000  . The proceedings of the conference are supposed to be published, that's why the applications should be of about 2-3 pages. The organizing committee reserves a right to choose participants by its own decision. In case your abstract is accepted, the organizing committee will send you an invitation, take the expenses of accommodation and meals in Petrozavodsk during the conference.

   If you are planning to come to the conference as a guest, please, inform us. The deadline is May 15 2000 . In this case you will pay all the expenses yourself.
