General Information

Justice Department in the Republic of Karelia is the body of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation Justice Department carrying out organization support of activity of district courts, garrison military court, bodies of the judicial community of the Republic of Karelia, as well as financing of the magistracy.

Major tasks

Justice Department in the Republic of Karelia is responsible for the following tasks:

1. Organization support of activity of district courts and bodies of the community of judges.
2. Appropriate realization of personnel work with the judge office seekers, as well as employees of machineries of district courts and the Department.
3. Financial support of activity of district courts, garrison military court, bodies of the judicial community and the magistracy.
4. Control of federal budget application by district courts, garrison military court, bodies of the judicial community and the magistracy.
5. Organization of construction and upkeep of buildings and premises of district courts.
6. Provision of garrison military court with buildings, constructions, premises, their janitorial services and upkeep according to the legislation of the Russian Federation.
7. Logistic support of district courts, garrison military court and bodies of the judicial community.
8. Social security of judges of district courts, garrison military court, the magistracy, including retired, members of their families, employees of machineries of district courts, garrison military court and the Department.
