Close connections has been established between the Finnish town of Yuankoski and the Karelian settlement of Pryazha. The chairman of the local Finland-Russia friendship society Pentti Rissanen has been inviting the painter from Pryazha Alexei Yakovlev to Finland to make sketches for a number of years in a raw.
This summer the painter brought his watercolor exhibition to Yuankoski. Besides, Alexei invited his colleague, Konstantin Romanov, also fond of Pryazhinsky landscapes, to participate in the exhibition. The opening of the exhibition took place June, 27 in Yuankoski.
